It is a common, every-day observation that kids love little teddy bears and toys and seek pleasure in simpler joys of life. But, our little wish child Ali Raza, 5 years of age, is truly special and unique. We do not come across such kids on a regular basis who wish for a remote-control car larger than his own size!

Ali Raza is suffering from kidney complications since he was an infant and is currently undergoing treatment at Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (S.I.U.T), with his illness he is much shorter and much weaker child of his age. During the interaction session, Ali Raza keenly mentioned his interests and desires which were not yet fulfilled by his parents.
Our volunteers were quick to identify the most cherished wish of this fragile boy. At the wish-granting ceremony, he was very excited and the sparkling, high-spirited Ali Raza could not wait but to quickly unpack his gift and start amusing himself with a remote-control car, almost his size! Ali Raza and his parents thanked Make-A-Wish Foundation Pakistan whole heartedly for bringing this joy to their child’s life. Mr. Ishtiaq Baig, Founding President of Make-A-Wish Foundation Pakistan along with Miss Naseem Hameed, the pride of the nation and gold medalist were present at this memorable event. Miss Naseem Hameed was completely touched to the extent that she publicly announced her association to Make-A-Wish Foundation Pakistan and its purely noble cause to add hope, strength and joy to children suffering with life-threatening medical illnesses.
