13-year-old patient of Thalassemia Major , receiving medication from Fatimid Foundation. Abdul Khaliq always insisted his parents to buy him a bicycle as he, too, wished to take long rides on a bicycle like his other friends did. His parents, however, were not in a financial position to support their child’s wish. This little desire, with the passage of time, became his innermost wish, so much so that Abdul Khaliq spent days of sorrow, crying over the failure of his parents to afford a bicycle for him.It is true, nevertheless, that every cloud has a silver lining to it. Thanks to Make-A-Wish Foundation Pakistan, who, having realized the worth of his desire, immediately granted his wish and granted him a brand-new bicycle n and other accessories. Abdul Khaliq held onto his wish gift tightly, as if never to let it go. Our dear wish child was completely astonished and could not believe how Make-A-Wish volunteers actually opened the doors of happiness for him.
